Who Needs Transfeminism?

I need transfeminism

Because I shouldn’t expect to be reblogged/reuploaded/reposted by trans-fetishizing blogs when I post a picture of myself on my personal blog.

Are the last two I sent getting through? Is there anything I could be doing wrong when submitting them? I'm not terribly familiar with tumblr and how it works.

Because I feel intense levels of shame when people get my pronouns wrong, and am made to feel intense levels of shame when I ask them to get my pronouns right.

Because to feminists it’s okay to be “trans-critical” but not to criticise feminism for being (for the most part) transphobic

I need transfeminism

because when people say “women and trans” what they usually mean is “women OR trans”.

Most important sexual organ is between our ears not our legs.

because not all of us still have the strength to fight the battle on the front-lines. That doesn’t mean that the battle shouldn’t be fought.

I need transfeminism because not even stores that are targeted at queer people bother to provide clothes for trans womens bodies.

I need transfeminism because in every other movement trans women have been prominent in, we have been thrown out by the rest of the movement the second it makes it easier for them to achieve their goals.
